Reason # 2 : A whole new concept, idea, and breakthrough in Indonesian Movie. “Adult-comedy” Movie, as what shouted from the movie’s ad. It’s a fresh storyline, even the legendary Warkop trio movies wasn’t quite close to be compared by Quickie Express

Reason #3 : Cool and Funny Quotes..!

Review: Transformers

I have a good sentence to position this movie: “Transformers kicks Spiderman3 Ass and makes Pirates of the Caribbean 3 bend into its knee”..!!

It’s indeed Transformers have something essential for what an action movie should have. While Peter Parker drop so many tears and Captain Jack Sparrow only perform attractively in his battle with Davy Jones, Optimus Prime offering a lot more action stuff with his Autobots mates.

This movie is really pays my thirst caused by “disappointment” when watching Spiderman 3 and PoC 3. From the beginning ‘till the end, I had enjoyment with watching so many cool computer rendering techniques. It’s really damn smooth. When Optimus transforms from his robot form into Heavy truck form, you’ll see a huge development of movie rendering.

It’s also obvious that the United States is proud with this movie. You’ll notice that they rebuke their ‘opposite’ country – Iran, Russia, and North Korea. And many top US ICT Vendors participate in this movie, as follows:

• HP Pavilion Notebook (Not sure which series)
• Apple Macbook
• Cisco IP-Phone
• eBay
• And two foreign vendors: Panasonic (SD Card) and Nokia (N92, and 8800 used by Sam – I think)

It’s full of action, less conversation, and no tears at all (Sorry Peter Parker, think you’re too melancholic as a super hero). The name of Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg reflect the quality of Transformers. I count this movie as a ‘must-have’ in your movie collection. It’s the type of the cliché action movie that you’ll love to watch it all over again. IMDB hits 8 stars out of 10 (although personally I go higher than just 8 stars)

You’ll love how the robots transform to its vehicle form. You’ll love Optimus Prime and his cool mates. You’ll fallin’ in love with Camaro on its yellow paint and black stripes in a sec. You’ll love the bad side, crushing into US air force. And mostly, you’ll love the very classic quote from Transformers, its when Optimus met his rival, and shout “Megatron..!!”

Album Reviews: It Won’t Be Soon Before Long

Well this is it, finally. Aren’t this what we waiting for after almost three years this band create songs for Jane. Well after their first-ever album sucessfully boost up Maroon 5 in music chart and so many sides give good ratings for “Songs About Jane”, I put my respect on Maroon 5 – considering how they ends up now with their new album.

After they given good remarks from their 1st album, Maroon 5 doesn’t ‘easily’ or ‘cheaply’ recording their second. There are so many bands out there publishing their album sequels just in order to keep their footnote in the industry and having themselves in the foodchain of business-entertainment.

Kinda different with the first, Maroon 5 combines Funk music nicely with rock ballads and pop music. With Adam Levine catchy vocal, I love the new taste of this album. Thumbs up for the funk-rock tracks: “Little Of Your Times” and “Cant Stop”. Somehow I just knew that this album is worth to buy (hear that my pirates friend) just by looking “Makes me Wonder” video clip at the first time.

Naruto vs One Piece

Here goes a light topic to discuss =)

Naruto and One Piece are some of comics I read these times. Despite of I’m 22-going-23 but hey, we deserve to bring our childhood back with us, rite..?

I really think these are two best comics we have nowadays in Indonesia (no offence for another comic’s lover ya). 

In terms of action, I would say Naruto is better. All that Jutsu stuff and Konoha ganks are worth to be waited for. Now we have full Konoha teams in action, plus Akatsuki, Orochimaru, and now even Hebi joined in – Hebi is Sasuke’s team comprised of four Orochimaru’s ex-subordinates (Oopss sorry for the spoiler). I’d say Rasengan and Chidori are way to cool as compared Luffy’s 3rd gear. In short, it’s indeed the action perspective is what makes me addicted to but this comic (I keep buying the orginals although I had the advanced scanned version). More characters – more jutsu comes up. And these are the reasons why I love this comic.

Moving to story point of view. After following Straw Hat Pirates journey from the beginning until now they recruits Franky, I do really thinks this book is more than just a comic. One Piece lover, I bet you’re agree with me that Eichiro Oda is magnificent. This book is an epic story. Oda explore more details of his characters. The characters past, and how they connected to the future that they build together with the Straw hat pirates. I’m addicted to this book more than just because the action, or the characters, but its the whole thing in this comic are driving my interest. I dont even care bout the action perspective. But this book offering something way further than another comic books, for example, Samurai Deeper Kyo, or even Legenda Naga. Well, you gotta read from the first Luffy’s journey to get what I mean.

 All in all, I’ll pick One Piece is better than Naruto, don’t you think..??
